Mia Williams

Mia is an Edinburgh-based artist and graduate of the University of Edinburgh, where she completed a BA (Hons) in Painting. Her practice is inspired by the ever-evolving relationship between humans and the natural world, exploring how we connect to, are shaped by and inspired by our natural environments.

Working primarily with bold colour and expressive mark-making, she creates pieces that aim to evoke both energy and intimacy. Alongside painting, she experiments across a range of mediums including screen printing and collage, allowing process and material to play an active role in the storytelling of each work.
